After discussing commission + payment has gone through, I will draw a simple, messy sketch of the composition. This will likely be very basic, non-detailed, with lots of shapes to show where things will be.

Once the client is happy with the initial sketch/layout of the drawing, I will clean the sketch to show better details, such as hair, eyes, expression, clothing, etc.

the 'clean sketch' portion is the last point I will be changing anything regarding the composition/pose

Once approved, I will do a messy color sketch to see what palette the client likes best. This could look something like this:

this is the last chance to change the color palette - I will not change the colors once detail work has started (eg. someone asks me to paint a blue dress and decides they actually want it to be yellow when I'm halfway done painting the highlight and shading.)

cleaning the painting + final details - client can tell me any additional details they want added at this point

I will not change large portions of the drawings at this final stage, such as the entire background, adding a whole other character into the drawing, etc.

I send the client the high resolution piece via email!

Note: I won't be sending high quality versions of the sketch or initial layers - only the end result. I tend to work on only a few merged layers. I hope you can understand! Thank you.

Complex background is $15+

Depending on complexity, it will cost more. Details would be worked out before invoice is sent.

Each extra character added to the commission will be half the original price

(example: if you commission me for one half-body character, it will be 70 USD. If you'd like two characters drawn, it will be 105 USD.)

Specific prices for a second character added:
